So today.
I got really depressed.
and guess what it's about.
prom.
wanna know why?
cause i'm not going
and why, you ask?
cause i haven't gotten asked.
but really...
who the heck will ever ask me?
yep.
no one.
so i'm going to go and curl up in a little ball
wishing i was going out buying prom dresses too.

You know what I say? I say you go out and ask someone to Prom yourself! If you really want to go, just take charge!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to go with a certain guy last year, and he didn't ask me. I thought about asking him but I decided not to because I was too chicken. But guess what? ANOTHER GIRL ASKED HIM and HE SAID YES. And I realized it just wasn't that big of a deal.
Some guys are idiots and overlook even the most awesome girls. Doesn't mean you should sit around and mope about it! You're gorgeous and awesome and sweet, Sam! Go to Prom with or without a date!
Girl i would but the guy i wanted to ask me, asked someone else. He goes to a different school, so i kinda expected him to ask someone else, but its just nice to kinda have that little bit of hope that he would ask me. I'm not going to let my Junior prom pass me by. Im going, with or without a date. I just wish i was on that kind of terms with someone to just ask as a friend, but im not. I just have always kinda assumed i was just going to go to prom with a date, but i guess not. I always wanted to be asked in a cute way and stuff, but thats not going to happen :(
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's tough, I totally understand! I'm sorry! But just remember you will also have senior prom next year! It's okay to be bummed about not having a date but don't let it ruin the night. It'll be magical whether or not you go with someone :)
