Hello World

Throughout the day at work we play country music videos on the flatscreen.
Well, this song is one of my favorite from Lady A.
Even before it became popular, I love it!
But i'm not gonna lie, kinda teared up a little bit in the middle of Sweet CeCe's!
Had to watch it again, and take a guess.
I cried.
What can i say, its a touching song.

"Hello world
How've you been
Good to see you, my old friend
Sometimes I feel as cold as steel
And broken like I'm never going to heal
I see a light
Little grace, little faith for the world
Hello world"

"All the angels disappears
I remember why I'm here
Just surrender and believe
I fall down on my knees
Oh hello world
Hello world"

Punching Bag

Words cannot express how much I hate this guy.
Spongebob Squarepants.
Just the name itself makes me hate him.
I was in my perfect sleep and i wake up the this ^ laughing.
If you don't know what i'm talking about- watch this.
And then we shall feel the same way about him.
Just watching this makes me mad.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Our Butts Are Smokin'

You'd think he would check the mirror to see if he look decent for his re-take school pictures.
For the yearbook.
But nope.
Not Macadoodle
We get the proofs in the mail today, and to our surprise, we see a little somethin' somethin' printing on his t-shirt.
"Our Butts Are Smokin' At The Loveless Cafe"
the phrase everyone wants to look at when they see their kids school picture.
2o years from now, he's gonna look back and say to himself

"What was I thinking?"

Mckay will always be Mckay.
Of course, he got a kick out of it.
(and says he wore it on purpose- ya right)

Happy Sunday

Isn't it crazy when things that happened, or something that you talked about in church get brought up later on in the day?
Ok, so i was on YouTube looking around for some videos.
The first one i saw.
Was this one.
Virtue.
"It's not a word brought up everyday or something we hear about in todays society"
Those were the exact words my Young Womens leader said at the start of her lesson in church today.
And so were Sister Dalton's.

You hear things in church to prepare you for something or teach you knowledge.
But little do you know, that same day, you needed that knowledge.
It's happened to me before.
Maybe a friend was going through a rough patch and needed guidance, or your struggling with something specific.
I really do think that if you go to church, one way or another, your answers will be given to you.
In disguise.
It not a caquincedence.
But its a blessing in disguise.

Fields and Love

So i would just like to point out.
Andrea Larson
The best photographer.
Ever.
She was in my ward a couple months ago.
She takes the best pictures!
What a great eye!
She is the same lady who took Morgan's senior pictures and our family pictures!
She is unbelievable!
These are my cousins who live in Nashville with us!
Jason. Jordan. Bailey. Chapman. Grayson. McLane. Tatum.
So precious.

See. Now you know.
So go call Andrea up!

Get On Your Feet!

Get On Your Feet!
Following her sisters footsteps!
When I was in 8th grade i was in the same show at Grassland Middle School!
Showstoppers, a play off of the "Glee Club".
Its an auditioned show choir consisting of around 20 girls and boys!
It's awesome!
They practiced and practiced and practiced.
for months!
We even had some tears on going to practice.
Apparently there were some times when practice was not on the "want" of things to do.
But she went anyway to support her friends who are also being dragged by there parents!
Oh, i sure do remember those times...
they were rough.
Soon enough we reached showtime!
It was awesome!
They performed 3 nights in a row!
Its totally legit!
So fun!
{Props to my mom for the costumes and Kala for the photography!}

Happy Sunday

"If life and its rushed pace and many stresses have made it difficult for you to feel like rejoicing, then perhaps now is a good time to refocus on what matters most."
DIETER F. UCHTDORF

Disclaimer: I thought it was quite appropriate considering that my stress level is at its finest during this hard hard junior year times. ha. thanks for the pressure.

What A Disappointment

The CMA Awards.
In true Sam and Kate fashion.
We go downtown trying to find scalped tickets.
Well.
You know how they say 3rd time's a charm?
Yeah, phych.

It would have worked if we were going anywhere else.
But the CMA Awards, i mean- c'mon.
You cant get better than that.

$100 cash. cute looks. battering eyelashes. heels.
check. check. check. and check.

Now the hard part is, getting around those tough big intimidating black guys who are the ones selling tickets.
So, instead we went to plan B (not really)
We were on our way there, and we dug some trash.
cereal box *cough cough*
and i drew up a little sign.

I ran out of room for the full "tickets" so we just did "tix" instead.
Sadly, i kinda sorta maybe left it in the car when we started walking to the Bridgestone.

Butterlove and Samuel

Snookie.

The chicken, was just dancing away on the street. So we decided to take a little snapshot.

Me and Elvis are tight.

Long Story Short.
The tickets were starting at $400 a piece!
$400 DOLLARS A PEICE!

FOR SOMETHING I COULD WATCH AT HOME IN MY WARM COMFY BED?!

Yeah, right.
ill pass.
so instead we went downtown to the hot HonkyTonks of Nashville.
it was better anyway.

I Should Be In The CIA

Lately,
Concert have been my thing.
That being said, my adventure has just begun.
Driving home from mutual one night with Reagan, and i get a call from my mom.
"Hey, look up at the sky. Do you see the spotlights shinning in the clouds?"
me: "Yeah, what are they for?"
mom: " Well i overheard some moms at basketball practice and they said that it was a private, all exclusive, VIP only Rascal Flatts concert at Ingram Farms! You should go check it out!"

Ingram Farm was just around the corner form my house, so i figured- ehh-why not?
Moran road. Pass Alan Jackson's old house up and around the corner, i see the lights,

AND A HUGE LITE UP SEE THROUGH TENT WITH FLASHING LIGHTS INSIDE.

i roll down the window. i hear music. great music. great Rascal Flatts music.
Me being my mischievous self, drive into the driveway of this house.
just kept on driving.
and driving.
and driving some more.

end up going the wrong way on a one way street.
and before i realized it, i parked.
looked up.
and there i was.
less than 5 feet from the tour bus!
we could NOT believe our eyes.
it was so laid back and chill.
no security in sight.
no person in sight.

we get out of my car, acting like we own the place.
(while i'm on the phone with my mom freaking out)
the music is SO loud at this point and i was shaking.
real hard.
i hung up the phone. walk up to the tent. walk right passed the valet guys. and watch the concert from outside. then. (this is the best part)
we LITERALLY. just walk in.
"A confident wave, and a smile can get you anywhere" says my granddad.
the best advice i have ever gotten.
we walk into this exclusive exclusive party.
we look around.
and everyone is wearing black tie attire. tuxedos and cocktail dresses.
and me and Reagan are in....jeans....and a shirt.
we stuck out like a sore thumb.
We shimmy our way to the front of the crowd by the stage and sit there.
starring up at Jo Don of course
literally, 10 feet away from the band.

It was a small set up.
less than 100 people.
a small stage set up just big enough to hold the equipment and members.
it was so low key, but awesome.
we only were in the tent for about 4 songs.
rocking out of course.
as everyone else there is drinking their perfectly assembled margaritas and cocktails.

Ater about 30 minutes the band closes the night.
puts down the microphone.
and walks off stage.
into the crowd.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What in the heck?
Who does that?
What award winning BAND just, walks into a crowd full of random people.
immediately a line started to form.
and i was right there in that line.
We're in line waiting to talk/meet/greet the lead singer Jay.
and i look over to my right.
on a table full of empty drink glasses.
and underneath one of the cups, i see it.
a V.I.P pass.
just hanging on the side of the table on a lanyard.
i motion over to Reagan to grab it, and of course she a little chicken.
so i look to my right, look to my left. look the other direction as my right hand yanks on the hanging lanyard.
i get a hold of it. and just throw it under my shirt. and pretend like nothing had happened.
i get up to Jay and this lady in front of me is totally getting all of her's signed. i stick my pass up there with hers and get a little autograph from Jay.
no big deal.

This is too good to be true.
at this point, we: snuck into this exclusive VIP only concert on a private farm, got front row and center, got a VIP pass, get it signed, and got a picture.
you think it stops there.
think again.
your wrong.

We make our way over to the oppisite side of the tent.
Jo Don was there talking to people.
We get in line.
Waiting.
Waiting.
Waiting.
And all of the sudden, i feel this tap on my shoulder.
Hold it. Are we in trouble. Did we get caught?
I turn around.
And its the band set up guy.
And he goes "Hey do you guys want these?"
holding out the DRUMSTICKS to us.
umm..i would be stupid NOT to.
then me, in my kidding voice go
"Well, you know, if you have any more keepsakes for us, then you can just hand them over"
then he reaches into his pocket and pulls out 2 GUITAR PICKS autographed that say
Rascal Flatts on them.
i mean, c'mon.
this is as good as it gets.
think again.
it gets better.
We make our way to Jo Don and seriously, one of the nicest guys ever.

We kid around for a while and reagan told him how we had just gotten these drumsticks and the picks. And he just reaches into his pocket and takes out his very OWN GUITAR PICK.
it was so casual and awesome it was just too good to be true.

then we walk out.
get in our car.
and drive up the road to my house.

thats it.
best night ever.

i owe it all to Momma Cram for such an awesome night!!!

Hide And Go Spook

For starters. Let it be known.
That I, Samantha Cram, LOVE halloween.
But seem to always be scurrying around the night of, trying to put together halloween.

humm...

something is wrong with this picture.
dont people totally plan these things totally in advance?
The answer to that statement ^ is yes.

Ok, so for FGC, of course we have a halloween party.
What kinda of high school sorority wouldn't?
It was the bombdotcom.

So i went with Jeff Allan. (the picture of the two of us is on his moms camera)
We went as the cutest thing.

Baker and Chef
Chef Jeff.
It was perfect!
But check out some pics from the partaayyyy!

jacqueline when with 3 guys.
they were the goldie locks and bears.

Ke$ha.

So the night of Halloween.
Sunday.
I had had my friends costume from last year.
She was minnie mouse and had made this skirt for herself!
I totally saw it on Facebook and i fell in love and asked her if i could borrow it for this year!
it was adorable!

Tough guys.
Go to the slaughter house.
we look it huh...

So question...
what HAUNTED HOUSE closes an hour early.
ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT?!?
yeah i dont know why either....

Happy Sunday

This made me smile.
...and this is why i wake up at 5:00 every day to go to church before school.
