Ladie's Love Country Boys

CMA Festival
June 9-12

I think it's safe to say that CMA Fest 2011 was a success.
It is the most unbelievable 4 days of the summer.
Hands down.
Country music every where you look.
What's not to like?
Good ole' southern gentleman in every direction.
mmm. mmm. mmm.
Love it!
If you aren't a big country music fan, this 4 day festival will make you one.
I mean, c'mon, who wouldn't want hunk of an accent like that.

The boys did phenomenal.
Thats all I can say about that.
Let's just say, that when Jason Aldean came on, thats when i went a little wild.
I just can't control myself sometimes!
{I just can't help but let loose and be crazy wild n out!}
I am 100% sure that the people around me probably thought i was drunk.
But no, i just know how to have a great time without alcohol.

The girls rocked it!
Martina McBride brought in Lauren Alaina to sing "Anyway" with her!
Miranda brought out her new girl band!
And now I shall tell you about Taylor.
I don't mean to toot my own horn or anything, but what i'm about to tell you was all me.
My idea. I made it happen. I get all the credit.
Just saying.
So after Miranda finished her time on stage, everyone down on the floor immediately got up and started walking up the stairs headed towards the gates to leave.
We then realized that Taylor was up next and that was the reason they were all leaving. The majority of the people leaving were mostly older people- people who don't like Taylor Swift.
Well, if you were in this situation- and Taylor Swift was about to go on stage.
On the last night of the festival.
The last performer of the night.
And the old grandma's from the floor gold circle were walking out of the stadium.
What would you do?
BING! BING! BING!
Any smart person would ask them for there passes.
Right?
Right.
McKenna and Alia were just like wusses and REFUSED to ask ANYONE for their passes.
But a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
I soon decided to step in and take control.
I started asking. asking. and asking.
denied. denied. denied.
Then.
2 old grandma's were walking up the stairs past our seats.
I got them!
I gently tap her shoulder and go:
"Hi ma'am, are you leaving and going home? I am the biggest Taylor Swift fan and all i want is to be on the floor during her performance. Would you be willing to trade me passes so me and my friend can go down and watch her on the floor?"
She responds.
"Oh honey! Of course! Here you go, i'll take yours on my way out just incase they stop me."
Are you freaking kidding me.
This is freaking awesome!
Thanks to MWAH!
:)
So of course long story short, we have 2 passes, but 5 people that need to get down there.
So we only have one choice.

So me and McKenna go down together.
I take off my pass and give it to her.
She goes back up.
Then brings down Alia.

Then for some reason we had to find another person down on the floor to lend us their pass as we go get Morgan and Julie at the lower level.
Of course I was the one left with the creepy drunk canadian guy who caresses my hair as i am waiting in line with him to buy himself 4 more beers.
He forced me to stay with him so i wouldn't run off while McKenna has his floor pass getting Morgan and Julie up top.
Creepy.
As Taylor was about to come on, i we all get down there.
Yay Yay Yay!
So this man next to us told us that Taylor was going to jump off stage and move onto a more central stage.
Right in front of us.
We start realizing that the security guards are forming a pathway.
Then, minutes later, there she is. She comes running down the open path, I snap a picture, and then she gives McKenna and Alia high fives.
NBD.
I just had the most amazing night of my life.
ok.
that's all.
