I am oddly amazed at how many informercials come on these days...Everyone is beginning to get WAY too encouraged to invent these stupid pieces of junk to make a couple bucks, but in my opinion- i think its a little ridiculous.
The latest a greatest product that everyone is raving about now is the so-called "Neckline Slimmer". I do not understand. It's said to tighten the jaw, and tighten the face and neck muscles for a reduced neckline. These infomercials have come on on an average of 3 times a day while i'm at work ( yeah, i counted), interrupting the amazing country music videos playing on GAC and CMT :)
I'm kinda a dork, so i went online and checked out the reviews. People have actually said that scientifically it SHOULD work- considering that your neck muscles are the same as any other muscle in your body to which it can get stronger and get smaller/bigger and respond to resistance exercise exactly the same way also.
Other people are saying that it has the same results as if you were to get a 5 inch diameter stress ball and do the same movement, but I don't know. There are so many testimonials on the commercial with pictures to prove it. But i think with the help of photoshop and a little bit of plastic surgery, anyone can pull it off..
Someones posted this on the review board- "Double chins may be reduced in obese and overweight people by losing weight, but complete removal typically requires surgery, this product does not work"...
On that note i think its safe to say that it works with some, and doesn't with others. Your just going to have to spend you $19.99 for this thing. But who knows, you'll never know how something really is until you've tried it yourself.
