I did it!
I can officially say that I have read the Book Of Mormon.
Hallelujah.
With the help of 4 other girls, we got it done!
For personal progress, it has been made a new requirement to read the entire
Book Of Mormon.
Well, there are a handful of us girls (Mckenna, Ali, Emma, Liesel, and I) who were super close to getting their medallion and this was the only thing holding them back!
Well, Liesel decided that she was going to put together a read-a-thon!
She needed to earn some credit for her Honor Bee which she is getting.
Thank goodness she did cause i know i wouldn't have gotten it done myself!
Phew!
We originally decided that we were going to read it through in 24 hours, but we all knew that wasn't going to happen.
ha. ha. ha.
So we decided to read it over a period of 3 days.
Every Sunday for 3 weeks.
177 pages a day.
8 hours a day.
And let me tell you.
It was a little rocky at times.
But it was worth it!
It was a miracle we got it done!
With the help of Sister German and her frequent snacks and food, we pulled through to the end!
Yum yum yum!
And we can't forget those awesome guest readers we had!
Every day we had as many as 3 guest readers (upon surprise!) walk in and read to us for an hour straight!
It was awesome, and i'm so glad i can say that i not only participated, but also read the Book of Mormon in 3 days!
So thanks Lies for putting this insane idea into something we all appreciated!
