4th.

Happy 4th of July from Huntington Beach, CA!
The beach says hello!

We rented these awesome electric automatic bikes and rode 7 miles to Newport Beach.
When we got there we ate lunch at Ruby's Diner on the Balboa Pier!
Talk about a yummy milkshake!
Oreo...all the way.

Amazing 2 hour long parade!
So so fun!
Probably the biggest parade I have ever been too.

We got to watch a fabulous firework show at the Huntington Beach Pier!
It was awesome!
I had never watched fireworks on the beach, so that was a new experience!

Happy Birthday America!
We love you!

Oh, Baby!

 I just love baby showers.
And just babies in general.
Man, can my aunt throw a party!
Wow!
Props to Aunt JoJo for putting all of this together!
Adorbs!

And this is what I wore to the shower.
I have figured it out.
Kinda
Go buy a nice pair of pants.
Then utilize what you have around that to make a simple, yet stylish outfit.

Take this outfit for instance.
These pants are new-ish.
Forever 21.
Belt is old.
more than a year
Top is something I bought for $8 cause it was "ripped".
Nothing a little stitch couldn't fix!
Shoes- extremely old.
{Like 4 years old}
Charlotte Russe.

Put things together that you haven't worn in a while.
Like these shoes.
Haven't worn them in over a year.
But are a great basic {cheap} wedge to go great with some flare chords.

Anyways.
There's my tip.

Happy Sunday!

Today I decided to skip out on the old lady stuff and hit up young women's with my girls Josie and Mckenna.
Glad I did.
Sister Sherwood gave our lesson.
The topic was on repentance.
I really enjoyed it.
She had each of us right down the steps we must take to repent of our sins.

 1. Recognize.
2. Promise
3. Recommit
4. Right the Wrong
5. Time
6. Forgive
7. He Forgives

It got me thinking of a lot of things.
It's such a blessing to know that we all have this amazing opportunity almost just placed in our hands.
If we just take these steps.
There's nothing more to it.

And just for the heck of it, I am posting a picture of what I wore to church.
*snap*
Can I get a "woot woot" for fitting into a skirt that used to not fit!?

Happy Sunday

I was feeling a bit pink today.
Empowering the girly-ness in myself.
Here's why...
As you know-
This weekend has been all about me.
Graduation. Graduation. Graduation.

Once all the senior girls in my ward graduate, the women of the relief society inducts the newly graduated girls into the relief society program.
This is where you would find all the women (including my mom) in the ward during 3rd hour of church,
Well, if your like me and love spending time with older, more mature, grown up, woman, then this is the place to be.
Not that young women's is boring or anything, I just prefer a more adult atmosphere.
I dont know
Just my opinion.
So today they gave all 3 girls a very warm welcome and had each of our Mom's say a few words about us.
Aw.
So sweet.
*thanks for the shout-out Momma Cram*

So yes, that's the story.
All that to say today was a girly day.
And I hope you can now understand my obsession with pink.
And you are more than welcome to continue to drool over my insane Michael Kors handbag Momma Cram suprised me with for graduation.
Go on...
Drool away.

2 Million Minutes

2 million minutes.
That's how long it took.
Four years.
Gone.
In a flash.
A blink of an eye.
a heartbeat.
Can't believe it's over.
It's bittersweet, really.
The good times and the bad.
All the drama.
Is the past, now.
No one really cares about it anymore.
It's all such a blur.
To me.
And to tell you the truth.
I could care less.
And I'm 100% sure I don't stand alone on that one.
 To many,
High school can at times seem like the center of ones universe.
A kingdom, perhaps.
To others, a worshiping ground.
But as for me.
High school was,
A hell hole.

2 million minutes
 That's all it took.
Done.

They say its the "Best 4 Years of Your Life"
I beg to differ.
They're wrong.

Cause my "Best 4 Years of My Life" will begin here shortly.
And my 2 million minute countdown will begin.
And I could not be more exited.
It may seem like a lot of time.
But it goes by in a blink of an eye.
So here's some advice:
Don't blink.
Home is where the heart is.
And that place is Tennessee.
