I thought this video was appropriate considering that my brother is preparing to go on a mission right now!

Ah! Its so crazy!

He is putting in his papers any day now, in hopes of departing in mid summer!

Its such a bittersweet feeling!

On the other hand, my brother's best friend, Spencer German, was called to serve in the Tempe, AZ mission. He is leaving Feb. 16! It feels like yesterday they were passing the sacrement as little deacons!

Today after sacrament meeting, practically all the priest and laurels hopped into eachother's cars and drove down to Dickson to see Jason Flake's missionary farewell meeting!

It was so sweet and touching to see everyone come together supporting Jason in his decision to serve the Lord. He leaves tomorrow for the MTC (Missionary Training Center) and then he is off the Mesa, AZ!

I am so grateful and thankful for my church, and the young men who choose to serve.

May the spirit be with you.

Numbers

A lot of things are beginning to happen at this point in my life.
good and bad.
Let me just share those things with you now, as i ponder my thoughts...

Number 1. I am absolutely and completely stressed out over college. Where i'm going to go. If i'm gonna get into BYU. How much is it going to cost. etc.

Number 2. I just started a ACT prep course that my school is offering...anddddd it sucks. Today we had Reading, and lets just say...i would be better off doing it on my own time.

Number 3. I miss my friends in Utah. SO much! Syd especially. Sometimes i feel like they are all i have when shaky things happen.

Number 4. American Idol is on tonight and they're in Nashville. YAY! I'm obsessed with this show! I LOVE IT! I'm planning on auditioning next summer! Hopefully they come somewhere close. If not- ROAD TRIP!

Number 5. My mom's Sweet CeCe's is opening very very soon! Yippiee!! And now Brentwood is opening tonight! It's all so freaking exited! Now i have Sweet CeCe's in every direction around my house-literally!

Number 6. I'm starting to get overly extremely exited about Brad Paisley's H2O tour! We bought tickets and im supa stoked!

Number 7. This is irrelevent- but my hands are frozen as i am typing this! Brrrrrr!!!

Number 8. I have my list of husbands lined up for me, Jimmer Fredette included :)

Number 9. Today is Jacqueline's Birthday! 18! WHOA!

Number 10. I now have the stress of finding yet ANOTHER date to the biggest, and last FGC event. Presentation. I get to wear a pretty dress and have a cutie escort me!

Number 11. Don't you just love it when you are beginning to discover "diamonds in the rough" at school? I mean...boys- of course! Ah! I love it when you can tell a cutie pie underneath that bad haircut and awful clothes :)

Number 12. I dyed Emily's hair last night. And let me tell ya...it looks pretty darn good. Maybe i should take up cosmetology school!

Number 13. Today is ROXY'S BIRTHDAY!

Number 14. I want the new blackberry.

Number 15. I have realized that i really want to travel the world. It has always been something i really want to do, but lately i have wanted it more than anything!

Number 16. I am getting soooo exited for summer! Like, why cant it come any faster!? I want warmth and sun! I want to be able to roll all my window's down (including the trunk window might i add) and feel the breeze come with my music blasting! Late night and crack ups! Ah, i love it! Tan. Blond. And white teeth. The 3 three things i love about summer! I am doing so many fun and exited things this summer including EFY, Vegas, and Morgan's Mission!

Number 17. Remember when i posted that post about that cirtain guy. Yeah, well i have now come to the realization that i am COMPLETELY over him. Good thing that stage of my life is over with! Phew!

Number 18. I am slowly becoming more and more bored with facebook. That's a great achievement i have made.

Number 19. I really want to somehow get $3000 and deck out my car in a bunch of crap. I want a sick brush guard. A want monogrammed floor mats. I want to add those sweet headlights jeep's have on the front of their car. I want to get all the scratched buffed off. I want to get a license plate that says "samcram" on it. I want the leather fixed up! And last but not least i want to get it completely detailed and cleaned up!

The last one Number 20. I miss my big brother at college! I wish sometimes that i can just jump through the computer screen and hang out with him and his adorable friends from the Y! Last night after the BYU vs. San Diego game he texted me and was sooo exited and happy! I want to be at BYU right now :(

So, i know your probably wondering why i have a new background and everything.

Well, shabbyblogs.com informed me that if i didn't update my code for my yellow and blue background, then it would get deleted. So, i go on the website, and my background is not longer available. Darn. So i just had to make another cute, bigger, better, awesomer, layout and design

So it's yet another night before a so called "great snowstorm" in Nashville.

Today i was laying on the couch and the phone rang, twice, once concerning Petsmart regarding Roxy's beauty appointment tomorrow, and the other- the Police Department!

What the heck?

Anyways...by now there should be some time of phone call.

School or no school.

According to the weather, they're gonna regret having school in session after all the buses slid of into the Harpeth River!

So lately, I have been obsessed with being neat and organized.

But at times, I like to sit back and admire my magnificent work!

(all those late shopping days, deal finding days, terrific steal finding days, and sale sale sale rushing days sure did pay off!)

I am oh so very proud of my hanging skills.

Everyone i own has to be in it's place.

Every tank, cami, dress, skirt, jeans, tops, jackets, sweaters, etc. has to been hung up.

Underwear, work-out clothes, tights, belts, plain shirts, sweatpants etc. have to be in their own basket drawer (not shown).

It's kinda a pet peeve of mine when i cant find somethings, especially when I need it right THEN!

Anyone can play, as long as they're between 12-18.

Spencer German, the mastermind behind the winning champs, gathered the best of the best players of Franklin, and made one big dominating team.

And let me tell ya-we're the bomb dot com.

Even with 21 year old guy from 4th Avenue Church of Christ.

(spencer-of course-insisted. he was up for the challenge!)

Morgan, too old to play, did what he does best.

It is one of those things that we all look forward to, being in the church.

Its all the talk during Christmas break.

Out of all things, a silly basketball tournament.

Its so fun though.

Non Members and Members all come together and cheer for their favorite team!

The tournament is held at my church 2 days in a row, all day long!

And it sure does wear you down.

But its SO worth it!

We even made the paper!

This thing right here^ has saved my life during these wintery times.

The best invention known to man.

Lately it has been off-the-chain cold here and i have had to suffer through it.

My room feels like the walk-in refrigerator at Sweet CeCe's and and basement is feels like the arctic.

It's horrible.

But fear not. Presto Heat Dish is here to the rescue!

The worlds best heater ever!

It heats up in 2.5 seconds and its fabulous.
